The Academy Director spent two days with the manager, discussing the potential of young players like 'player name'. 'I met up with the boss when we went to Germany,' he explained. 'We think we have some players with potential and he was really interested to hear about them.'

The talented teenager gained valuable experience during his 10-minute cameo in the 1-0 defeat against Borussia, giving fans who don't regularly attend matches at the club's youth base in Kirkby a chance to catch a glimpse of one of their emerging talents.
